Note: Each week, the TTU Sports
Information Staff will dig into the school's rich Photo Archives
and publish a photo from the past. Some of the photos will include
identification, but sometimes Tech will ask for viewers' help in
identifying the people shown in the photo. To submit missing
identification or comments about the photos in this series, send an
email to: sportsinfo@tntech.edu.
Featured this week: Okay Golden
Eagle fans, we need your help on this picture of a pitcher. It's a
photo from around 1968-1972 era, judging from the cars in the
background (cropped out of this picture). Can you help identify
him? If you know who this is, please email us at the address
above.
The photo is taken on the Tech Baseball Field that once stood where
Sherlock Park now hosts band practice and sunbathers. On the
outfield fence you can read a sign for Morehead State, so it
appears the old field listed all of Tech's OVC rivals. We love the
uniform style, with the jerseys and no sleeves, just like the old
Pittsburgh Pirates.
If we learn his identity, we'll publish the information in a future
