COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After two days of intense competition, the Pepsi Bobby Nichols / Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Budweiser has come and gone, donating money into the athletic programs at Tennessee Tech University.
 
At the end of competition, Ryan Allison and Eric Miller dominated the competition, winning the championship flight with a 30-under, playing at White Plains on Friday and Golden Eagle Golf Club on Saturday.
 
Former Scramble winners Paul Ballard and Tim Richardson won the first flight with a 23-under. In the second flight, Matt Allen and Tech head men's basketball coach Steve Payne came out on top with a 10-under.
 
In the third flight, Pat Bagley and Dennis Baker shot 6-under to win the group, while Chris Cunningham and Peter Grima won the playoff to claim the victory in the fourth flight with a 4-under. Kenny Butler and Grant Lane won the fifth flight with a 2-over, while Roger Short and Jason Wyatt earned the top spot in the sixth flight with a 6-over.
 
In the seventh flight, Don Birdwell and Steve Hillis won the playoff to win the flight with a 14-over, while Carlton Clarrington and Stephen Kite won the eighth flight with a 23-over.
 
The Pepsi Bobby Nichols Scramble presented by Budweiser is a two-day fundraising tournament for Tennessee Tech Athletics held at three area courses – Golden Eagle Golf Club, Ironwood Golf Course and White Plains Golf Course.
