COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Women from around the Upper Cumberland are invited to join the Tennessee Tech football team on Friday for the program's Now You Know Women's Football Clinic.
Participants will get a more in-depth look at the sport, as well as learn more about the Golden Eagle team that is taking the field this season.
The clinic is Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tech campus.
The evening begins with a reception in the Eagles' Nest in the Hooper Eblen Center with finger foods as Tech head coach Marcus Satterfield will give participants an exclusive look at the 2016 Golden Eagles.
The action will then move over to Tech's practice field as participants will take part in some light on-field skills training as they learn some of the drills the Tech players use in practice. Athletic shoes are recommended.
There will also be an officiating seminar as referee will go over rules and signals for the participants.
All participants will receive a free T-shirt and the clinic is limited to the first 100 signups.
