COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – "This is one of our favorite clinics we get to teach all year," Tennessee Tech head coach Marcus Satterfield told the gathered audience on Friday night as the Golden Eagle football team hosted the Now You Know Women's Football Clinic.

It showed why as the crowd asked great questions, took part in drills and learned more about Golden Eagle football in the Friday night event.

Each Tech coach had a chance to take the floor and explain their positions – many of them explaining why their position was the most important one on the field -- then a segment with local referee Jeremy Tollison allowed Satterfield and his coaches to reenact various calls and have Tollison explain the ruling.

As the evening went on, the crowd was shuttled over to the Athletic Performance Center for a tour of the weight room, then into the indoor football practice facility for passing drills, a gauntlet drill and a tackling drill, ending as Satterfield called them all in for a huddle to wrap up the evening.

The Golden Eagles open camp on August 2, with the Gathering of Eagles scheduled for August 18 and Tech opening its season on Sept. 1 at home against Wofford.
