By Jocelyn VerVelde, Sports Information Coordinator

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech volleyball team looks to make a quick turnaround as they are back in action on Tuesday night. They will travel to Tennessee State for a 6 p.m. CDT match.

This will be the second time these two teams match up in just 11 days as Tech hosted the Tigers on Oct. 11. TSU came out of the last outing with the upper hand, winning 25-16, 25-17, and 25-17.

The Tigers are led offensively by Naomi Wells. Wells put down a match-high 13 digs against the Golden Eagles last time out. She leads the OVC in points earned in all matches this season, as well as ranking second in kills per set.

Junior libero Courtney Smith will be key in helping the Golden Eagle defense stop the Tigers fast offense. Smith is currently third in digs per set in conference matches only with 4.90 digs per set.

The match will be played at Pearl-Cohn High School in Nashville. The Pearl-Cohn High School address is 904 26th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37208 for fans who want to travel to the match.
