Tech women's golf team to host seventh annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team returns to action at Sevierville Golf Club, heading to Sevierville, Tenn. to host the seventh annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate from Mar. 17-19.

BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 17-19, 2019 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-71, 5,803-yard Sevierville Golf Club (Highlands Course) in Sevierville, Tenn. Teams will kick off with a 9:00 a.m. CT shotgun start on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday will currently feature a 7:30 a.m. CT shotgun start.

GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: Competing for the Golden Eagles are junior Shelby Johnson, sophomore Kate Mashburn, senior Lindsay Miller, freshman Heidi Lawson and junior Arianna Clemmer. Competing as individuals are sophomore Isabel York and sophomore Hannah Bratton.

THE COMPETITION: The 12-team field consists of host Tennessee Tech, as well as, Belmont, Butler, Carson-Newman, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, Lee University, Marshall, Missouri-St. Louis, Northern Kentucky, Samford and Tennessee State. Fielding just individuals is Jacksonville State.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BROWN: "We're looking forward to going back to Sevierville as we always enjoy playing in our home event. The women have been working hard on areas of their games since returning from Kiawah and are confident heading into the second event of the semester."
