COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team announced the addition of three players for the 2019-20 athletic seasons. The Golden Eagles add three signees to a team with two senior members.

Here's a look at the 2019-20 signees for Tech:

GITTLE SCIOLIS
Hometown: Bremen, Ga.
High School: Bremen High School

Sciolis has enjoyed three years of success for Bremen High School, with sights on a brilliant senior campaign still to come in the spring. As a junior, she placed 11th overall at the Georgia Girls High School Division 3A State Tournament, helping Bremen to a runner-up finish.

Competing on the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour each of the past three years, Sciolis has racked up four top-five finishes, including an individual victory at this past summer's SJGT Hermitage Junior Classic.

COACH BROWN'S TAKE
"Gittle has a very professional mind set about what being a Division I golfer entails. I think that is going to be very contagious for the rest of our team. She is an extremely diligent and hard worker and we look for her to come in and have an impact right away because of her overall work ethic."

ELISABETH TOENNESSEN
Hometown: Grimstad, Norway
High School: Wang Toppidrett

Toennessen joins her twin sister, Katrine, as the first international signees in Tech program history. Her older sister, Maria, played golf at Ole Miss from 2013-17, earning numerous academic honors along the way.

Attending Wang Toppidrett, she joined both of her sisters competing for the Grimstad GolfKlub. The three claimed victory in the 1st Division Team NM competition, earning the right to play in the elite division next year and compete among the eight best teams in all of Norway.

COACH BROWN'S TAKE
"Elisabeth attended more of a sports prep school, so she has a ton of competition under her belt already. It will be interesting to see how she comes in and adjusts to America and just our program. It will be fun to see how she fits in with the rest of the team and see what she brings to the table. We're very excited to have her."

KATRINE TOENNESSEN
Hometown: Grimstad, Norway
High School: Dahlske Upper Secondary School

Toennessen joins her twin sister, Elisabeth, as the first international signees in Tech program history. Her older sister, Maria, played golf at Ole Miss from 2013-17, earning numerous academic honors along the way.

Attending Dahlske Upper Secondary School, she joined both of her sisters competing for the Grimstad GolfKlub. The three claimed victory in the 1st Division Team NM competition, earning the right to play in the elite division next year and compete among the eight best teams in all of Norway.

COACH BROWN'S TAKE
"Katrine was very successful in her school and on the course. We're excited to have her join us and add her own flavor, so to speak, to the team. I believe she will fit it well with everyone and we are fortunate she will be joining us."

"For both of them to come in together is just a unique circumstance for the team. There are very distinct personalities between the two of them. It will be fun to get to know how each one of them works and what makes them tick. They went to different schools, so it will be interesting to see how they acclimate themselves to our golf program and being over here in America. I couldn't be more excited to have them come join our program and start something completely new for Tech women's golf."
