COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech women's golf team heads to
Murfreesboro, Tenn., Monday and Tuesday to play in the MTSU Blue
Raider Invitational. The 54-hole event will be played at the Old
Fort Golf Course.
Coach Polk Brown's five-player lineup is a familiar one, the
same five who have represented Tech in the previous three meets
this fall. Teeing it up for Tech will be senior Katherin Bell,
sophomore Amber Shepherd and freshmen Maddi Everts and Katya
Hoffman and Megan Williamson.
For Williamson, the tourney is a homecoming of sorts. She hails
from Murfreesboro and played at Blackman High School.
The teams will play two rounds on Monday, with the final 18 holes
slated for Tuesday. The weather forecast for the tournament is
ideal, with mostly sunny skies and highs close to 80 degrees.
Complete results will be posted each day at the end of play, as
soon as they become available.
