COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – After getting the short end of the series against Eastern Illinois, the Tennessee Tech softball team will look to get back on track as it hosts a single game against Jacksonville State Thursday before traveling to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville this weekend.
The Golden Eagles return home Thursday, for a single game against Jacksonville State, at 4 p.m. Since their first meeting in 1993, both teams are deadlocked with a 17-17 record. In their last meeting, the Gamecocks took the 10-4 decision in the OVC Tournament last season.
JSU enters the week the owner of a 26-10 record, and sits in

Gamecocks dropped two-of-three games to SIU Edwardsville, and are
5-3 in their last eight games. JSU is led by Kristin Graham, who
has belted 12 home runs and driven in 30 runs.
The Golden Eagles finish off the week with a three-game series
at SIU Edwardsville, beginning Saturday with a doubleheader at 1

The Golden Eagles and Cougars have met just one time back in
2009, with SIUE coming out with the 3-0 victory. The Cougars are
currently 15-20 on the season, and sit in fifth place in the OVC
with a 7-6 conference record. Kasey Schlafke leads the SIUE offense
