COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – For the third straight year the Tennessee Tech tennis team is off to the NCAA Tournament, and TTU Athletics invites all fans and alumni to be a part of the festivities as the Golden Eagles will find out where and when they will playing during Tuesday's NCAA Tournament selection.

Be a part of the excitement and join in on the pageantry of it all with team in the Eagles Nest on the fourth floor of the Hooper Eblen Center for a special viewing party on May 1 to celebrate the program's ninth trip, and record third-straight, to the NCAA Tournament. Doors open at 4 p.m. CT with the show slated to begin at 4:30.

The Golden Eagles are coming off a thrilling run in the OVC Tournament, knocking off top-seeded Belmont in a championship match for the ages in Nashville on Apr. 22. Knotted at 3-3 with the title hanging in the balance, freshman Riku Kubota rallied in the third set in the No. 5 singles matchup, winning the final three games for a 6-3 third-set nod that gave the Golden Eagles the championship and the program's first ever three-peat in the OVC Tournament.

Now as part of the exclusive field of 64 in the NCAA Tournament, the only questions are where, when and who will the Golden Eagles play on the grandest of stages. All of these will be answered on Tuesday afternoon.

The NCAA Tournament first and second rounds are set for May 11-13 in a variety of on-campus sites. The rest of the tourney, including the semifinals and finals, are slated for May 17-28 at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, N.C.
