Spring 2020 (Sophomore): Taylor took part in the team's only event of the spring before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… ripped a career-low round of 68 as part of a 216 at the Bash at the Beach (Mar. 9-10) to finish tied for 24th… named the team's Most Improved Player… wrapped up the year with a scoring average of 73.59.

Fall 2019 (Sophomore): Taylor competed in all five of the team's tournaments in the fall, completing 14 rounds of play… fired a career-best 72-72-71=215 in the first event of the year at the EKU Intercollegiate (Sept. 14-15)… tied for 20th in the event… posted a 75-73=148 to tie for 24th at the Intercollegiate at The Grove (Oct. 6-8)… turned in a season-best round of 69 in the third round of the SIUE Derek Dolenc Invitational (Sept. 23-24)… finished the fall with a 73.93 scoring average.

Spring 2019 (Freshman): Taylor played in three of Tech’s six spring events, tallying nine rounds of action… fired off a season-best 220, along with a personal-low round of 69 at the Big Blue Intercollegiate (Apr. 8-9)… posted his highest finish by tying for 27th at The Grover Page Classic (Mar. 11-12) with a 230… named the team’s Most Dedicated Player following the season… concluded his first year with a scoring average of 76.73.

Fall 2018 (Freshman): Taylor participated in two of the team’s five fall tournaments, accounting for six rounds of play… made his collegiate debut with a 71-73-77=221 at the Derek Dolenc Invitational (Sept. 24-25)… posted a 236 at the East Bay Deli Classic (Nov. 4-6)… wrapped up the semester with a scoring average of 76.17.

High School: Taylor lettered four years at Gate City High School in Gate City, Va. for Rhea McConnel and Jody Wolfe… won individual conference and region titles two times… set the course record at Lonesome Pine Country Club and posted the lowest 18-hole score in Virginia High School League history with a 61 in the region tournament… posted two top-10 finishes in the state tournament, including a personal-best third-place finish… earned Region Player of the Year honors and was named All-State two times… named District Player of the Year four times, earning All-District honors all four year and All-Region honors twice… led his team to three conference titles… won 40 junior events throughout his high school career… won an NJGT National Championship.
