COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference-Big South Football Association announced its 2025 slate on Tuesday as all nine teams will play an eight-game conference schedule between weeks 5 and 13.
Tennessee Tech will open its title defense on Saturday, Sept. 27 as the Golden Eagles travel to fellow co-champ Tennessee State. The following week, on October 4, Tech will host Western Illinois.
The Golden Eagles will be road warriors as they stretch from one end of the association to the other with back-to-back road games on October 11 and October 18 as Tech travels to Charleston Southern and Lindenwood in succession.
Tech returns home to take on OVC-Big South automatic qualifier Southeast Missouri on October 25, then hosts Gardner-Webb the following week to open up November on the first.
On November 8, Tech travels to Eastern Illinois, then will host fellow co-champion UT Martin on November 22 for the final game of the regular season to possibly decide both the OVC-Big South title and the Sergeant York Trophy.
The non-conference slate will be announced at a later date, as will game times and special events.
