COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech football fans throughout the region get their first chance this afternoon to ask Golden Eagle football coach Watson Brown quesstions, and learn more about the 2011 season with the return of his weekly call-in show that will be simulcast on both television and radio.

The Watson Brown Show, featuring fifth-year Golden Eagle head coach Watson Brown, will be presented by IWC Cash & Carry. The call-in show will air on WCTE-TV live every Monday night at 5 p.m., with a taped encore each Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Each show will also air on the radio on WHUB am 1400 and a video stream will be provided free of charge on OVCSports.tv

The first show is scheduled for this afternoon (Labor Day) at 5 p.m.

During the 30-minute broadcast, Brown will sit down with local sports personality Buddy Pearson and recap the previous week's game, show highlights and game film, preview the upcoming opponent, and answer questions from callers as well as emails and tweets.

The focus of today's first show will be a review of the Golden Eagle opener last Saturday at Iowa, as well as a look ahead as Tech prepares to open the season at home against Maryville College on Thursday night.

WCTE is the PBS station for the Upper Cumberland, and can be seen in the Nashville market on Dish and DirectTV. WHUB am 1400 is part of the Golden Eagle Sports Network.

WCTE-TV will televise all five of Tech's home games in 2011.

Brown, a Cookeville native, is in his fifth season as Tennessee Tech's head football coach. He is in his 27th season as a head football coach, and his 39th season in college coaching overall.
