COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Boasting a victory last week over a ranked
opponent, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle football team has taken
another step up the ladder in both Football Championship
Subdivision Top 25 national polls. Coach Watson Brown's team
(5-2/4-1 OVC) is currently listed No. 15 on the FCS Coach's poll
and No. 20 on The Sports Network/Fathead.com poll.
The Golden Eagles have three games remaining in the 2011 regular
season, including two at home inTucker Stadium beginning this
Saturday with a Homecoming contest against Murray State. Kickoff is
at 1:30 p.m. After that, Tech visit Eastern Kentucky, another OVC
team that is receiving votes in both polls, before closing with a
home game against Austin Peay on Nov. 19.
Curiously, last week's victim Jacksonville State, remained ahead of
Tech in one of the polls while slipped a couple spots back in the
other. The Gamecocks are 18th in both polls.

Ticket Office in Eben Center or call (931) 372-3940.
