COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the 2018-19 academic year came to a close, the Tennessee Tech student-athletes put together another solid semester in the classroom.
In all, 198 student-athletes made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for Spring 2019.
"The continuing effort that our student-athletes put forth in the classroom is amazing," said Mark Wilson, Tech Director of Athletics. "Just like their fight on the fields or court, our student-athletes are relentless in their search for academic achievement. They put countless hours in an already crowded schedule, and to see so many continue to achieve is a testament to their commitment to our ideals."
The list of 198 also included 42 that were included in the Gold Club, posting a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. Those names are included below in bold type.
"I cannot stress enough how thrilled I am that our student-athletes, our coaches and our staff continue to make academics such a high priority," Wilson said, "and to see the results of that in consistent success is a tribute to their efforts. We expect great things out of our student-athletes and they keep finding ways to prove that there are no limits to what they are capable of."
