COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's finally here! Tennessee Tech hosts the annual Pepsi Bobby Nichols Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Budweiser, beginning this Friday, June 7.
Back to its famous, three-day format this year, from June 7 to June 9 at Golden Eagle Golf Club and White Plains Golf Club, there is still time to register for another great event. Of course golf isn't the only thing going on this weekend with the Bobby Nichols Scramble.
On Friday evening, the annual Doc Fields' Concert, presented by Budweiser, will feature Hairbangers Ball, a Chicago based group described as one of the most sought after "80's Hair Rock Tribute Bands" in the United States. The concert will once again take place at Revolver Saloon on Jefferson Ave. with doors opening at 7 p.m. The concert will be open to the public with tickets available for $25. Tickets include five complimentary beer vouchers and admission to the concert.
Following the second day of play, the celebration continues as the event will host its annual barbecue at Golden Eagle Golf Club. In addition to dinner, the scheduled skill contests will begin at 6:30 p.m.
