COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech fans traveling up to the Ford Center this week for the 2018-19 Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Championships will have the opportunity to enjoy a tailgate atmosphere prior to the games.
The Tennessee Tech tailgate tent will be set up adjacent to the ticket entrance of the Ford Center, directly across the street on the corner of Main Street and SE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Golden Eagle fans will be able to enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, as well as the company of the TTU Spirit Squad. The tailgate area will open approximatelys two hours prior to each Golden Eagle contest throughout the tournament.
The 2018-19 OVC Women's Basketball Championship begins Wednesday as No. 1-seeded Belmont takes on No. 8 Southeast Missouri. Also on Wednesday as No. 2 Morehead State will face off against No. 7 Jacksonville State.
The No. 4-seeded Golden Eagles open their tourney run on Thursday, squaring off with No. 5 Austin Peay in a 1:00 p.m. CT tilt. No. 3 UT Martin will match-up with No. 6 Murray State following the contest.
All-session tickets can still be purchased at TTUSports.com, at the Tennessee Tech ticket office in the Eblen Center, or by calling the TTU ticket office at 931-372-3940. All-session tickets are $80 while single-session tickets can be purchased for $15 per session. The cost for children 12 and under is $5 while students with a valid college ID are also $5.
