COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Monika and Henry Bowman (pictured with Director of Athletics Mark Wilson, Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Rosamond and Executive Director of Planned Giving Tiff Rector) have been avid fans, season ticket holders and annual donors for many years. Recently they established the Monika and Henry Bowman Women's Basketball Scholarship Endowment to further support the program and its players.
A member of the Cookeville Regional Medical Center staff for more than 35 years, Monika graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville before earning her master's degree from Tennessee Tech. After completing his undergraduate degree at Austin Peay University, and his master's at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, Henry spent more than 40 years with the Upper Cumberland Development District.
Monika and Henry believe that Tennessee Tech enhances the benefits of living in Cookeville in many ways and hope the scholarships they are endowing will help promote educational opportunities for students in the future.
