HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- After heavy rains passed through Hattiesburg, Miss. Sunday night and Monday morning, the first day of the Lady Eagle Invitational has been rained out. The Tennessee Tech women's golf team resumes action Tuesday morning.
The weather postponement shortened the tournament to now 18 holes, which will be played Tuesday, beginning at 7:30 a.m., with a fixed start and groups opening play on the 1st and 10th holes. Tee times will take place every eight minutes at those two holes.
Tennessee Tech joins Austin Peay, Belmont, Jackson State, ULM, Marshall, Memphis, New Orleans, South Alabama, Stephen F. Austin, Texas-Pan American, Troy, UAB, West Florida, William Carey and host Southern Miss in the tournament.
