The Golden Eagle squad will head to Clarksville, Tenn., to compete at the Austin Peay Invitational. The Purple and Gold squad will be joined numerous teams from throughout the area and Ohio Valley Conference including: Austin Peay, Tennessee State, Murray State, UT Martin, Belmont, Austin Peay, Morehead State, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee State, Western Kentucky, Kentucky State, Dalton State, and Fisk.

"The takeaways from last week were very positive," head coach Wayne Angel said. "As a team, I thought we were very competitive. We were able to get a lot of work done. Now it's just a matter of being focused this week and consistent with our performances and continuing to improve. If we engage in this manner, I am confident that we will put ourselves in a position in the future to battle for a top three finish like we did at the indoor OVC championships this year."
