COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tennessee Tech tennis team continues its 2012 spring schedule this weekend as it heads west to Memphis for a pair of duals against No. 46 Memphis Friday and UNC Greensboro Saturday.

The Golden Eagles dual against the Tigers is set for 6 p.m., with their contest against the Spartans set for 1 p.m.

TTU is looking for its first dual victory of the spring season having dropped a pair of 6-1 decisions to Radford and UT Chattanooga last weekend.

Tech sophomore Vasily Eremeev notched two victories last weekend including a 7-5, 6-2 victory over UTC's Stephen Crofford. He posted a doubles victory, along with freshman Artem Tarasov, over Radford's Igor Ogrizek and Stijn Meulemans.

Memphis is 1-0 this season, having defeated Tennessee 4-3 in its first dual of the spring season. The Tigers secured the victory over the Volunteers as Joe Salisbury took the final singles match, 1-6, 7-6, 7-6, to secure the victory.

UNCG's dual against TTU will be the first of its 2012 spring season. During the fall, Ahmet Sarioglu led the Spartans with six singles victories, while the doubles pairing of Randy Phillips and Chanon Varapongsittikul recorded a 4-3 doubles record.
