Men's basketball one game out of first; looking to pack the Hoop this week

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Sitting in a three-way tie at one game out of first place in the Ohio Valley Conference, the Golden Eagle men's basketball team will host a crucial three games this week as the second half of conference play kicks off.

Tech has already taken on Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State and APSU on the road, amassing a record of 2-1 against the three opponents.They'll first look to sweep the season series against EKU on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m in game two of the evening's double-header showcase.

The Golden Eagles will then welcome in Morehead State, who's current record of 7-4 matches Tech's, on Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. tip time, and will look for a repeat winning performance against APSU on Monday at 7 p.m.
