History vs. Southern Indiana
The Golden Eagles hold a 2-0 advantage between the two programs all time, with Tech sweeping last year's series in Cookeville with a pair of 3-0 victories.

Preseason Honors
A trio of Golden Eagles picked up Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference honors, including sophomore setter Jordan Karlen, junior outside hitter Madolyn Isringhausen, and graduate middle blocker Skylar Boom, the most Tech players earning preseason recognition since 2008.

Consistent Attack
Now in her third season as the top offensive weapon for the Golden Eagles, Isringhausen has continued to show the consistency that earned her All-OVC Second Team honors in 2021 and First Team recognition last season. The junior outside currently ranks seventh in the OVC in kills with 3.35 per set, eighth in points per set with a mark of 3.96, and eighth with 0.38 service aces per set. Last week, Isringhausen piled up 4.75 kills per set while hitting .337 with 3.38 digs per set and two double-doubles in a pair of 3-1 wins at Western Illinois.

Setting the Table
Sophomore Jordan Karlen ranks third in the league in assists per set on the season, averaging 9.51 per game. The reigning OVC Setter of the Year earned OVC Setter of the Week honors after delivering an incredibly successful weekend at Western Illinois. Leading the team to a .295 attack, she turned in 12.88 assists per set and 3.38 digs per set while posting a pair of double-doubles. It marked her second weekly accolade of the year.

Finding Her Form
Rookie right side Ava Schubert currently ranks second among the Golden Eagles in kills, totaling 209 overall on the year. The freshman tallied 3.25 per set over the weekend, hitting .250 with six blocks and seven digs.

Powerful Powell
Outside hitter Bella Powell chalked up her best weekend in the purple and gold while helping guide Tech to a pair of wins at Western Illinois, leading the Golden Eagle offense with 4.88 kills per set while hitting a ridiculous .405. The junior also notched 3.63 digs per set, securing two double-doubles. She smashed a season-high 21 terminations in the opener on the weekend and turned in 18 more in the second match.

Here Comes the Boom
Boom has established herself as one of the top middles in program history. The Louisville native currently ranks 7th in Tech history in total blocks and 10th in solo rejections.

Up Next
The Golden Eagles return to the Hooper Eblen Center for a midweek tilt Tuesday evening, squaring off with Morehead State in a 6:00 p.m. CT affair.
