COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Fresh off the program's best season since 2014, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team is set to participate in four separate events this spring, announced by head coach Jeannette Waldo on Friday.

Tech finished the 2019 season with a 13-17 overall record and a 9-7 mark in conference play, earning the program's first post-season berth since the 2015 season.

The Golden Eagles begin their spring schedule with a home matchup against in-state rival Middle Tennessee on February 29 inside the Hooper Eblen Center. First serve is set for 10:30 a.m. CT against the Blue Raiders.

Tech kicks off its first tournament of the spring on March 28 in Hoover, Ala. at the Finley Center. Opponents for the tournament are still to be determined.

Two weeks later, the Golden Eagles will return home on April 11 for a pair of home contests as they host Snead State Community College at 1 p.m. and close out the day against Union University at 3:30 p.m.

Tech will wrap up spring action on the road on April 18 with a tournament in Bowling Green, Ky. hosted by Western Kentucky. The field for the tournament is still to be determined.

All three home events are free of charge and open to the public.
