BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The OVC's final edition of its 2024 weekly accolades included a shade of purple and gold Tuesday afternoon.
After collecting the game-winning goal in Sunday's win over Lindenwood that helped push the program to its third-consecutive Ohio Valley Conference regular-season championship, Neve Renwick was named the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Week, sharing the honor with USI's Emerson Grafton.
Renwick's award bookends weekly honors for the sophomore forward, who captured the league's first Offensive Player of the Week distinction back on Aug. 20 following goals in each of the first two matches of the regular season.
Overall, Tech ends the year with six weekly awards. Lucia Cuadra was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 10, while Katie Toney (Offensive), Meredith Nye (Defensive) and Maggie Conrad (Goalkeeper) all earned weekly achievements on the same day on Oct. 1.
Renwick opened the scoring with her OVC-leading 10th goal in the 35th minute in Sunday's 2-0 triumph over Lindenwood that gave the Golden Eagles their first-ever OVC regular-season three-peat.
The Sheffield, England native's score also put her in a tie with Robin Vince (2001) for the fifth-most goals in a single season in program history.
Renwick and the rest of the Golden Eagles will enjoy their double-bye straight to the semifinals before hosting the semis on Nov. 7 at Tech Soccer Field. The championship match in Cookeville is slated for Nov. 10.
