BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – After claiming the first Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week nod in the first week of the season, the Tennessee Tech women's soccer team picked up another nod on Tuesday as graduate midfielder Lucia Cuadra was the winner for the weekly offensive award.

The award is voted on by the league's sports information contacts.

Cuadra, a native of Barcelona, Spain, scored both of the Golden Eagles' goals in Tech's 3-2 loss to South Alabama, taking four shots in the contest. One of the goals was on a penalty kick.

It was the first two goals of the campaign for the transfer from Texas A&M International.

Golden Eagle teammate Neve Renwick won the first Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.

Little Rock midfielder Kaitlin Graeber was named the Defensive Player of the Week as the Trojans held Central Arkansas to one shot on goal with multiple blocked shots, while also recording an assist on the game-winning goal.

Lindenwood netminder Caroline Ritter was the league's Goalkeeper of the Week after recording six saves in a 1-0 victory at Southern Illinois.

The Golden Eagles return to action Thursday night as they host Belmont at 6:30 p.m. – weather permitting.
