COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With heavy rains and high winds expected in the Cookeville area Thursday evening from Hurricane Helene, the Tennessee Tech-Southeast Missouri women's soccer match has been moved up to noon on Thursday out of an abundance of caution.
Hurricane Helene is expected to intensify and grow through Thursday and make landfall in Florida's Big Bend or eastern Panhandle Thursday night. The outer bands of the storm will push into the Southeast throughout the day.
The game is still planned to be streamed on ESPN+ (subscription required).
Admission to events at Tech Soccer Field are free to the public.
