COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech will play one last game before its break for fall semester finals, welcoming IUPUI to Cookeville.
Tip-off is set for Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles (2-6) opened up their six-game home stand and snapped a six-game losing streak on Thursday night with an 83-52 win over Cumberland University, which also featured senior Yaktavia "Shug" Hickson reaching 1,000 points scored in her Tech career. Freshmen Kesha Brady and Jordan Brock scored in double-figures as well, with Brock totaling a career-high 21 points.
IUPUI will be the second Horizon League member Tech has faced this season, having traveled to 2016-17 conference co-champion Wright State on Dec. 1. IUPUI finished second in the Horizon League last season and also participated in the 2017 WNIT, falling in the first round to Saint Louis 62-57.
Tech's only meeting with the Jaguars came last December in Indianapolis, which IUPUI won 77-63.
IUPUI is coming off a tough 96-83 loss in overtime to Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 6, which ended a three-game winning streak.

- Notables: While Tech is in the midst of its longest home stand of the season, IUPUI begins a stretch of six-straight road games and will next travel to Georgia Southern, DePaul, Illinois-Chicago, Cleveland State and Youngstown State. The Jaguars have already played their lone December home game… IUPUI has the best RPI (83) of all non-Power Five opponents Tech has played so far this year. The first RPI rankings of the season were released Monday.
