COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech alumni who live in the South Florida area will have an opportunity to watch the Golden Eagle women's basketball team this weekend when coach Amy Brown's squad plays two games at the FAU Thanksgiving Classic in Boca Raton.

Tennessee Tech will meet the host team, Florida Atlantic, Saturday at 3 p.m. EST, followed by a game between Texas and Georgia Tech. The consolation game is Sunday at 3 p.m. EST, with the tournament championship scheduled for 5 p.m. EST.

All games will be played in the FAU arena on the Boca Raton campus.

"We're excited about playing in this tournament," Brown said. "We'll be competing against some outstanding teams, we have some fans who are following the team there, and we have some alumni in the area who've said they'll be there, as well."
