TULSA, Okla. -- Tennessee Tech's doubles pair of Alex Arovin and Alberto Esteban open play Tuesday afternoon at the ITA All-America Qualifying Tournament in Tulsa, Okla.
The two competed over the weekend at the ITA All-America pre-qualifying event, with Esteban posting a 2-1 record and Arovin going 1-1.
The Golden Eagle duo open play against the team of twin brothers Terrance Whitehurst and Terrell Whitehurst, sophomores from Florida State University in a match at 3 p.m. CT. The Seminole team was ranked No. 1 in the state of Florida as high school seniors. The winner of the match advances to the Round of 32 on Wednesday, where they will face a foe from either Stanford, Oklahoma State or Ohio State.
