Golden Eagles part of 18-team field
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men’s golf team opens its spring season today at the Samford Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at Hoover Country Club in Birmingham, Ala.
The 18-team event will consist of two 18-hole rounds on Monday and a final round on Tuesday. Shotgun start for Monday’s first round is set for 8 a.m. with Tuesday’s final round set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
The Hoover course is playing to a par 72 and is 7,001 yards in length.
In addition to the Golden Eagles and host Samford, the field consists of Air Force, Austin Peay, Belmont, Davidson, Eastern Kentucky, Evansville, Houston Baptist, Illinois State, Murray State, Nicholls State, Sam Houston State, SIU Edwardsville, Southern Illinois, Tennessee-Martin, Western Carolina, and Winthrop.
