COOKEVILLE, Tenn -- With just a couple games left in the 2019 regular season, Tennessee Tech sophomore quarterback Bailey Fisher is continuing his assault on the Golden Eagle single-season and career record books.

He was recognized for his performance in Saturday's 37-27 win over Jacksonville State as Fisher was selected as an honorable mention FCS Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards as well as the OVC Offensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness.

Fisher ended Saturday's game with 334 yards of total offense, throwing for 213 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-27 passing, while also rushing for a career-high 121 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries – the first Tech quarterback since Brock McCoin in 2015 against Austin Peay to rush for more than 100 yards in a game.

The two touchdowns gave Fisher the most passing touchdowns in a season with 20, passing Grant Swallows' mark of 19 in 2001.

The effort also put Fisher at 4,005 passing yards and 4,760 total offensive yards in his career, while inching closer to the single-season marks with 2,324 passing yards and 2,733 total offensive yards. Michael Birdsong has the single-season record with 2,577 passing and 2,803 total offensive yards; Fisher needs 253 passing and 70 total offensive yards to tie the single-season marks.

Fisher extended his single-season combined touchdowns record to 30 with four against Jacksonville State.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday as they head to Eastern Kentucky for their final road game of the 2019 regular season. Kickoff is slated for noon Central time.
