Week 3 camp recap, closed scrimmage this afternoon

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Another week has flown by for the Golden Eagle football team, culminating in the team's second scrimmage of the camp season.

Like the earlier scrimmage, today's event at 3:30 p.m. is CLOSED to the public.

Meanwhile, new assistant coach / quarterbacks coach Nick Coleman, transfer quarterback Hayden Rettig, junior defensive back Josh Cunningham and junior Nick Madonia give us a look at camp this week.

Camp continues next week, culminating in Thursday's Gathering of Eagles event, starting with a kids' clinic at 6 p.m. and the third scrimmage following.

Tech opens its season on Aug. 31 as the Golden Eagles host Football Championship Subdivision No. 25 Western Illinois.
