COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The time is set for Tennessee Tech's trip to Knoxville on Nov. 5.
The Tennessee Tech-Tennessee game will kick off at 3 p.m. Central/4 p.m. Eastern, and will air on SEC Network Alternate.

The game time was announced by the Southeastern Conference office.

It is the first game between the two schools since Oct. 27, 1951, when the Volunteers were the top-ranked team in the Associated Press poll and went on to win the game 68-0 then later claim the consensus national championship with a 10-1 record.

Tennessee has a 5-0 record against Tech, playing five straight years from 1947 to 1951.

The Golden Eagles are idle this week, and will enter Neyland Stadium with a record of 3-5 and 3-3 in the Ohio Valley Conference, coming off of a 21-20 victory over Southeast Missouri on Tech's own Homecoming game on Saturday.
There are still tickets available for the game on Nov. 5. To order, visit the Tennessee Tech ticket office at the Hooper Eblen Center, call (931) 372-3940 or visit www.ttusports.com.
