COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech Athletics and Cookeville Communications will continue their efforts to bring the Golden Eagles to your radio dials this season as 106.1 The Eagle (also on 780 AM) will stand as the flagship station for Tech Athletics, including Golden Eagle Football and Men's and Women's Basketball.
The football games were previously broadcast on 98.5 KISS FM with men's and women's basketball games and other select events on 106.1 The Eagle. Now all three sports will have their games under the 106.1 The Eagle banner.

Roger Ealey is back for another season as the radio voice of the Golden Eagles, entering his 31st year broadcasting Tennessee Tech sports. He will be joined by Marcelo "Metz" Metzelar as analyst for home football games, Dylan Vazzano on the road football contests and Frank Harrell at home during basketball season. Vazzano will also broadcast select basketball dates.
Tennessee Tech will have its first football game on 106.1 The Eagle on Saturday as the Golden Eagles open up the 2024 campaign at Middle Tennessee.
