COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Attention Golden Eagle fans - be sure to
check out Gameday Live for every Tennessee Tech football game
this fall. The new and improved format includes information and
links on how to watch and/or listen to the games, live blog, live
stats and Twitter feeds.
Gameday
Live is the one-stop-shop for the most passionate Golden Eagle
fan on game days. Being able to utilize additional social media
applications will allow fans to connect with other Tech fans in
various platforms throughout the country and the world.
The Official Tennessee Tech Football Game Day Blog will be live in Iowa City this weekend for the Golden Eagle season opener versus the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.
During the game, staff of the Tech Sports Information Office will be manning the Official Tennessee Tech Football Game Day Blog and Twitter (@TTUGoldenEagles) from the press box and the sidelines to provide up-to-the-minute notes and stats about the game. Also, Tech fans are encouraged to tweet their gameday photos and messages to @TTUGoldenEagles. Selected photos and messages will get retweeted.
The game blog not focus on play-by-play, but instead highlight big plays and provide pertinent information surrounding the game. Play-by-play will be provided by live stats which will be found elsewhere on TTUsports.com. All of the links will be available on Gameday Live.
Fans can also sign up for an e-mail newsletter to receive updates and reports on Tech football -- or any other sport.
Saturday's game will be televised nationally on the the Big Ten
Network with Tom Werme, former Hawkeye Danan Hughes and Stacey
Paetz calling the action. The BTN is only available to subscribers,
but can also be accessed on a pay-per-view basis. There will NOT be
a video webstream of the game.
