COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team is postseason bound after claiming a bid to the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) Monday evening, playing host to Akron Thursday evening in a 6:00 p.m. CT tilt in the Hooper Eblen Center.

Seats of current Golden Eagle season ticket holders will be held until 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, at which point they will be released to the general public. Tickets will be sold for $10, and can be purchased at the Tennessee Tech ticket office at the main entrance of the Eblen Center, by phone at (931) 372-3940 or by clicking here.

Thanks to the generosity of a Golden Eagle Athletics fan, Tennessee Tech students will receive free admission to Thursday's opening-round contest. Students must simply show their valid TTU student ID at any of the Eblen Center ticket gates for entrance into the game.

Tennessee Tech students are highly encouraged to attend the Golden Eagles' first postseason appearance since 2011-12 to help create a dominating, home-court advantage for a squad that finished the 2018-19 regular season and OVC Tournament with a 21-10 record.

The first 300 fans to enter the gates of the Eblen Center on Thursday will receive special edition, postseason t-shirts to wear to the contest.
