BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Jordan Brock was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday after lighting up the Hooper Eblen Center with 53 total points in Tennessee Tech's two victories last week.con

Brock averaged 26.5 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds over the two contests, with striking shooting percentages from the floor (56.7 percent), from 3-point range (53.8%) and from the free-throw line (100%). She also logged a team-high 31.5 minutes per game.

Brock began the week by becoming Tech's first 20-point scorer of the season against SIUE, matching a then-season high with six 3-pointers. She finished 6-of-11 from behind the arc and 7-of-13 overall in game, and scored 15 of her points in the second half to help TTU run away with a 79-55 victory.

The Harlan, Ky. product kicked it up a notch for Saturday's finale, pouring in a career-high 33 points against Eastern Illinois, the highest single-game scoring output in the OVC this season. The sophomore sharpshooter knocked down 10 field goals in the game and eight from distance, which were also career bests. Her production was imperative, as Tech was forced to outlast EIU in a shootout, 99-88.

In four conference games, Brock holds the league's highest scoring average (21.3 ppg), the highest 3-point clip of players with more than 20 attempts (62.5%), and the third-highest field goal percentage (60%). She also joins fellow Golden Eagles Kesha Brady and Mackenzie Coleman as the league's only three players with a perfect mark from the free-throw line.

Brock is establishing herself as one of the premier marksmen in the country, with her 45.5-percent season mark from 3-point range ranking 19th in NCAA Division I. She also finds herself among the nation's top 40 in free-throw percentage with an 87.8% success rate on the year.

The eye-popping numbers have boosted Brock's season average to 14.3 points per game, which ranks ninth in the OVC.

The 33-point outburst was the second time Brock has touched 30 points in a game. She also dropped 30 – her previous career high – against Southeast Missouri on Jan. 25, 2018. She won OVC Freshman of the Week after that performance.

This is the first time Brock has won Player of the Week from the conference, and the first time a Golden Eagle has done so since Samaria Howard on Feb. 22, 2016.
