Tech men's basketball team releases home game times for 2020-21 slate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team officially released its start times for all home contests during the 2020-21 campaign Monday afternoon. Head coach John Pelphrey begins his second season under the direction of the Golden Eagles, welcoming eight newcomers to a group of six returners featuring Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference selection Jr. Clay

Tech's home opener, an in-state battle with Chattanooga, will begin at 6 p.m. CT on Monday, Nov. 30. Following a three-game road swing in five days, the Golden Eagles return to the Eblen Center to kick off OVC play on Sunday, Dec. 13 against Jacksonville State. Tip for the contest is set for 4:00 p.m.

Another three-game road swing separates Tech from its next home tilt, with the purple and gold returning to Cookeville for a Wednesday, Dec. 30 affair with OVC foe Southeast Missouri. The men's team will tip at 8:00 p.m.

Seven more home contests for the men will feature 8:00 p.m. tip times during league play, including contests with Belmont (Jan. 14), Tennessee State (Jan. 16), Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 28), Morehead State (Jan. 30), SIUE (Feb. 11), Austin Peay (Feb. 25), and Murray State (Feb. 27).

The Golden Eagles' Feb. 13 match-up with Eastern Illinois will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Seating will be available in a limited capacity in accordance with NCAA and OVC regulations. More information regarding fan attendance will be announced at a later date.
