Support Tennessee Tech football on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30

Tennessee Tech Football has a huge impact on Cookeville, the Upper Cumberland, and the entire Golden Eagle Community.

Each year, Tennessee Tech highlights a cause on this international day of giving. For 24 hours on Nov. 30, the entire Golden Eagle community will be asked to make a gift to Tech's Football Operations Center.

I have been blessed to be a part of the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle Football Program since 1983. I have been a player, a graduate assistant coach, a full-time assistant coach, and I am honored to currently serve as the head football coach. My time as a student-athlete here at TTU along with the college degree I earned has opened many doors of success and opportunity for myself and my family. I am sure many of you feel the same way. Tennessee Tech University has always stood for excellence. Our community, our university, and our proud alumni are simply the best. In order for our football program to consistently compete for conference championships and post-season opportunities, the time is now to invest in football facilities. More importantly, it is an investment that will allow us to recruit, retain and develop championship-caliber football student-athletes. Your financial support for this important project will make an impact for generations to come.

The Football Operations Center will cost $15 million to build and must be 100% funded by private support. So far, we have raised $2 million. On Giving Tuesday, we hope to raise $50,000 in just 24 hours. Will you make a gift on Nov. 30 and help us reach this goal?

During our 30 years of "football marriage," Angy and I have witnessed the positive difference football can make in a young person's life. Therefore, we have promised to match every gift made on Giving Tuesday, up to $25,000. Watch your inbox and Tech's social media on Nov. 30 for a link to the Giving Tuesday crowdfunding website.
