COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With its longest road trip of the season coming to an end, the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team will look to make it a perfect trip as they collide with Southeast Missouri Saturday.

This will be the 46th meeting between the Golden Eagles and the Redhawks, with TTU owning the series edge at 27-18. In their previous meeting this season, Tech dropped SEMO 62-48 in Eblen Center.
 
Junior guard Tacarra Hayes and junior center Brittany Darling each posted 13 points and nine rebounds against the Redhawks, while junior guard Rachel Glidden added 10 points.
 
Tech (15-4, 9-1 OVC) recently won its ninth OVC contest of the season with a 56-50 victory over Eastern Illinois on Thursday and were led by a pair of freshmen in Molly Heady and Briana Jordan. Heady posted a game-high 17 points, while Jordan added 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
 
Southeast Missouri is 7-13 on the season and presently sits in seventh place in the OVC with a 3-7 conference record. In their last four games, the Redhawks was compiled a 2-2 record with wins over Eastern Kentucky and Murray State, and a pair of losses against UT Martin and Jacksonville State.
 
Opening tip between the Golden Eagles and the Redhawks is set for 4:00 p.m., at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
