COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the new calendar year upon us, the Tennessee Tech soccer team has announced its latest plans for another Golden Eagle Soccer Academy ID camp, set for early in 2020. The camp will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2020 on the campus of Tennessee Tech University and registration is now open.
Under the guidance of TTU head coach Steve Springthorpe and the rest of his coaching staff, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST on Tech Soccer Field and is open to all female soccer players, grades 9-12. Check-in is slated from 8:30-9 a.m.
The day's events include a pair of training sessions, panel discussion on the college process and life of a student-athlete, as well as games designed to help further enhance each player's skills.
The cost is $125 per person and payments can be made online via credit card or mailed by check, which should be made payable to Springthorpe Soccer Academy.
