COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The hunt for the 2021-22 Ohio Valley Conference championship is now underway. On Tuesday morning, the Tennessee Tech women's basketball took to the Hooper Eblen Center court to open practice for the new campaign.

With the 16-player roster, there are a lot of familiar faces, including all five starters from last season's team that reached the OVC Tournament semifinals. Added to that experienced mix is four newcomers – Chattanooga transfer Anna Walker, as well as freshmen Reagan Hurst, Harley Paynter and Olivia Koontz.

As drill work began in earnest, the Tech women start work toward their exhibition contest one month from today against Christian Brothers, then the regular-season opener on Nov. 9 against Bethel.

The 2021-22 season marks the sixth season for head coach Kim Rosamond and her staff as they look to hanging the championship banners for their 19th regular-season and 10th tournament titles in the OVC.

Season tickets are now on sale – call (931) 372-3940, visit the Eblen Center ticket office or visit TTUsports.com to order.
