BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Senior Lisa Wickham claims her third OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week honor as she was named Co-Female Track Athlete of the Week following another record-breaking performance at the Samford Bulldog Invitational this past weekend.
Wickham claimed a first-place finish in Birmingham, Ala. in the 60-meter event with a time of 7.25 seconds. Her mark broke the school record for the third time this indoor season, as well as set a meet record at the Bulldog Invitational. She also leads the conference in the respective event and is tied for 15th nationally this season.
She also turned in a solid performance in the 200-meter dash, placing sixth in a field of 47 competitors after crossing in 24.86 seconds.
The Golden Eagles will continue their indoor season as they prepare for the OVC Indoor Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 26 and Thursday, Feb. 27 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
