COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – An exciting schedule lies in store for the Tennessee Tech softball team in 2025 as the Golden Eagles announced their slate on Friday.
Tech opens the season on Feb. 7-9 as the Golden Eagles travel down to Greeneville, S.C., for the Furman Paladin Invitation. Tech will face South Carolina State, Stonehill and Evansville in the first week. On Feb. 14-16, the Golden Eagles will head down to Columbus, Ga., for the Army Tournament, facing Army, Syracuse and Long Island.
The Golden Eagles then travel to Greensboro, N.C., for the UNCG Invitational, where they will take on Towson, George Washington, Iona and the host Spartans. Tech will then close out the tournament schedule in Bowling Green, Ky., for the Western Kentucky Hilltopper Spring Fling with repeat contests against Evansville, Kentucky and host WKU.
Tech opens the home slate on March 5 with a single-game visit from Bellarmine, then Ohio Valley Conference play at Tech Softball Field on March 8-9 with a three-game set against Tennessee State before wrapping up the five-game homestand with a visit from North Dakota.
The Golden Eagles travel to SIUE for a three-game series on March 15-16, then travels to North Alabama for a single game on March 18. The action resumes at Tech Softball Field on March 22-23 with a three-game set against Western Illinois before a single home game against Chattanooga on March 25.
Tech closes out March with a three-game series at Southern Indiana on March 29-30, then begins April with three games at home against Eastern Illinois on Apr. 5-6 and a single game on Apr. 8 against Georgia State.
On April 12-13, Tech heads to UT Martin for three games, then hosts Southeast Missouri on Easter weekend with a Friday doubleheader and single game Saturday on Apr. 18-19. Following a midweek single game against Austin Peay on Apr. 23, Tech then his the road for four games with a three-game series at Lindenwood on Apr. 26-27 before a return trip to Chattanooga on Apr. 30.
The Golden Eagles close out the regular-season slate with a three-game series against Morehead State on May 3-4, the latter day serving as Senior Day.
The Ohio Valley Conference Softball Championships will be held May 7-10 at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Ill.
All games at Tech Softball Field are free admission.
