In his collegiate cross country debut Gilbert Boit established a new Tennessee Tech 6K record in taking first place at the Golden Eagle Invitational presented by Hometown IGA earning him adidas® OVC Male Runner of the Week honors on Sept. 6.
Boit covered the course in 18:33.7 which was the top 6K time in the OVC during the week, nearly 40 seconds better than the next runner. He topped runners from Purdue, Western Kentucky and Alabama State to win the meet.

Baldwin claimed first place honors at the Walt Crawford Invitational for the second-straight season and set a course record in the process on Friday. The junior finished the 5K course in 17:48.92, which was just four seconds off her personal best and the top 5K time in the OVC by nearly 20 seconds this season. Her time established a new Tom Woodall Panther Trail time by seven seconds. Baldwin's performance helped the Panthers team to the team title
