Spring 2018 (Freshman): Womack competed in all six of Tech’s spring events, tallying 18 rounds of action… earned his first career All-Tournament honors by tying for fifth at the Grover Page Classic (Mar. 12-13)… finished the event with a spring-low score of 218 with scores of 72, 69 and 76… shared the team’s Impact Award with teammate Will Brooks… sported the second-lowest scoring average for a Tech freshman in over a decade, finishing at 74.40.

Fall 2017 (Freshman): Womack participated in all six of the team’s fall tournaments, totaling 17 rounds of play… fired a 74-72-72=218 in his collegiate debut at the Murray State Invitational (Sept. 11-12), posting a top-25 finish… turned in a season-low 216 at The Hummingbird Intercollegiate (Oct. 2-3) after rounds of 70, 72 and 74… shot a season-best 68 in the first round of the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate (Sept. 16-17)… earned his first top-10 finish at the Samford Intercollegiate (Oct. 23-24)… concluded the fall with a scoring average of 73.18.

High School: Womack lettered four years for head coach J.W. Holt at Warren County High School… also lettered one year in tennis for head coach Ben Matheney… captured All-District honors as a sophomore, junior and senior… as a sophomore, averaged 74.19 per round and finished 29th out of 72 participants at the state tournament at the Division I, Class AAA level… lowered scoring average to 73.06 as a junior, finishing tied for 13th among 72 golfers at state championships… wrapped up his senior campaign averaging 71.46 per round and tying for eighth overall among 68 golfers at the state finals.
