COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team officially released its start times for all home contests during the 2019-20 campaign Monday afternoon. The excitement for new head coach John Pelphrey's first year at the helm of the program has fans buzzing with anticipation.

Prior to the official start of the regular season, the Golden Eagles will host Bryan College on Tuesday, Oct. 29 as the second part of doubleheader action with the Tech women's squad. Tip for the men's contest is set for 8 p.m. CT. The night will also serve as Purple Palooza, with more information on the annual event to be made available soon.

Tech's home opener, a tilt with Martin Methodist, will commence at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 following the Golden Eagle football game against Jacksonville State. Three days later, the purple and gold will host Wright State as part of a doubleheader. The Nov. 12 match-up is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip.

The Golden Eagles will feature five more 7:30 p.m. starts during the season, including doubleheader affairs with Murray State (Jan. 11), Morehead State (Jan. 23), Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 25), Tennessee State (Feb. 1) and UT Martin (Feb. 20).

A pair of 4 p.m. tips are on the docket for the 2019-20 season, including a Saturday, Dec. 21 contest against Western Carolina, the second game in a doubleheader with the Tech women. Tech's other 4 p.m. start will come in the regular-season, home finale, a twin bill against Southeast Missouri on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Four games in the Eblen Center will begin at 6 p.m. for the Tech men, including contests against Lipscomb (Nov. 25), Reinhardt (Dec. 2), Austin Peay (Jan. 9) and Jacksonville State (Feb. 13).

Tech will also feature one more 8 p.m. start during the season, a Jan. 30 showdown against in-state and Ohio Valley Conference foe Belmont. The Thursday night affair will be televised live on ESPNU.
