COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Registration for the 2024 Pepsi Bobby Nichols Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Michelob Ultra has officially opened, enabling golfers to make reservations for Tennessee Tech's golf fundraiser. To register, please visit or call the Athletics Ticket Office in the Eblen Center at (931) 372-3940 or 3941, or by visiting TTUsports.com.

The fundraiser will continue with its popular three-day format, featuring 18 holes of golf on Friday, June 7, Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9. The tournament will take place at both the Golden Eagle Golf Club and White Plains Golf Club. The Golden Eagle Athletics Department thanks title sponsor Pepsi and presenting sponsor Michelob Ultra (Tri Star Beverage) for their loyal support of the annual fundraiser.

Participating golfers will receive an impressive package of perks with their $275 paid entry fee this year, including:

  • Greens fees (cart not included) for two practice rounds (one at each course) any time leading up to the event after they have paid their registration in full.
  • One free mulligan per round
  • A small bucket/bag of balls to hit prior to each tournament round
  • Free lunch each round (featuring one hot dog, one bag of chips, and six drink tickets)
  • One free cart per team during each round of the tournament
  • Entry to the annual BBQ dinner featuring door prizes
  • Opportunity to win flight gift certificates
  • Increased payouts based on field of play
  • Goody bags with a distinctive gift

The 2024 Bobby Nichols Scramble will once again feature Doc Fields' Friday Night Concert. Each golfer will receive two free tickets as a special gift from Doc Fields, the presenting partner. Additional tickets to the concert can be purchased for $25 each.

This year's concert will feature Bourbon Sons (formerly The L.A. Maybe), a five-piece country and southern rock band from Charlotte, N.C. To learn more about Bourbon Sons, golfers can check out the band's promo video or visit their official website.

The Bobby Nichols Scramble will kick off Friday morning with the first round of play. The Doc Fields' Friday Night Concert will take place after play Friday evening. Play will continue Saturday morning with the second round, followed by the barbeque dinner, contest finals, and door prizes. Flighting will take place Saturday evening. Tee times will be set accordingly and communicated to each participant.

Those who register early will get their first choice of tee time and course selection for play on Friday and Saturday (golfers are required to play each course once). There will be no declaration for any flight, including the championship flight. Professionals are not eligible for prizes or contests.

The scramble will have a limited capacity of 320 golfers and is expected to fill quickly, so all participants are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot. With the return of its popular three-day format, the Pepsi Bobby Nichols Golden Eagle Scramble presented by Michelob Ultra will continue to be one of the largest and most popular golf events in the region.
