Golden Eagles head down I-40 for opening round of Big Blue Intercollegiate

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The members of Tennessee Tech men's golf team will get one more crack at honing their skills before heading off to the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, as the Golden Eagles make their way down I-40 for the Big Blue Intercollegiate.

The two-day event will span from Monday, Apr. 13 to Tuesday, Apr. 14 and feature 54 holes at the par-72, 7,157 yard President's Reserve Course at Hermitage Golf Club. The first 36 holes will be contested on Monday, kicking off with an 8:00 a.m. CT shotgun start.

Play will conclude with round three on Tuesday with another 8 a.m. shotgun start getting the field started.

The field will consist of 13 teams, including:
Belmont
Green Bay
John A. Logan
Morehead State
Murray State
North Greenville
Northern Kentucky
Tennessee State
Tennessee Tech
Trevecca Nazarene
UT Martin
West Alabama
West Georgia

"The guys are excited to make a run at Tennessee State," head coach Polk Brown said. "Given recent success in the previous few events, we look to be in contention come Tuesday. They are focused and ready to go."
